Terms and Conditions:
1. Calendar and Scheduling:
Our programs follow the St. Johns County School District academic calendar. We observe all school holidays, teacher workdays, and emergency weather closures. If the school is closed, no lessons will be held. No credits are issued for school-mandated closures.
2. Conduct and School Policy:
Lessons are held on school property; therefore, all students are subject to the same Code of Conduct required for any school-sponsored activity. Respectful behavior toward instructors, peers, and property is mandatory. We reserve the right to dismiss any student from the program for disciplinary reasons without a refund.
3. Equipment and Materials:
Birds on a Wire: Students are required to bring all items from the class ‘Materials List’ to every session.
Wings on the Keys: Pianos/keyboards will be provided for use during instructional time.
Home Practice: Consistent progress requires daily practice. Students must have access to their respective instrument type (guitar/piano) at home. Each program requires 10-15 minutes of daily individual home practice.
4. Tuition and Billing:
Invoicing: All billing is handled electronically. Invoices will be sent via email from Intuit QuickBooks to the parent/guardian email provided at registration.
Due Date: Payment is due in full on the 1st of each month.
Late Fees: A $10.00 late fee will be automatically applied to any account with an outstanding balance after the 5th of the month.
Non-Payment: Continued participation in the program is contingent upon timely payment. Lessons may be suspended if an account is more than 15 days past due.
5. Attendance and Cancellation:
Our instructors' time is reserved specifically for your student within a limited school-day window. As such, no refunds or credits are provided for missed lessons due to student illness, travel, or extracurricular conflicts.
6. Withdrawal Policy:
To withdraw from the program, a 30-day written notice is required. Families are responsible for tuition payments during the 30-day notice period.
7. Liability Waiver:
By enrolling, parents/guardians acknowledge that the school district and OM Studios International, Inc. are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal instruments or property. Parents/guardians agree to release OM Studios International, Inc. from any liability related to instrument damage and/or injuries sustained on school property during the duration of the program.
